Intelligently Artificial is a set of 3 live improvisations, performed on my custom vocal harmonizer. Everything you hear was recorded, processed, resampled, looped, or granulated live and in real time within one Max patch I built myself, and controlled using a single shitty MIDI keyboard. I mixed everything myself, and decided to release these 3 tracks as my debut EP. Enjoy!

This EP explores the boundaries between being human and machine; live and programmed; individual and incorporeal. I did not want to capture the sound of a human singing along with an electronic instrument; I wanted to blend the two together into one unified sound, a completely new kind of instrument.
